Learning Objectives
After completing this course, the reader should be able to:

  1. Define the radiologic (CT) criteria that determines whether a pancreatic neoplasm is surgically resectable, locally advanced, or metastatic.
  2. Explain why it is difficult to conduct clinical trials of adjuvant or neoadjuvant therapy in resectable pancreatic cancer.
  3. Review the advantages and disadvantages of preoperative versus postoperative adjuvant therapy for patients with pancreatic adenocarcinoma.
