Learning Objectives
After completing this course, the reader should be able to:
- Employ models of tumor growth rate or regression that can be used as a surrogate for survival while on treatment.
- Describe how drugs that slow the growth of tumors can prolong survival even in the absence of response according to the RECIST.
- Explain how slowing the growth of tumors or regression can be tracked independently of regrowth.
